‘A tithe of everything belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.’ Leviticus 27:30

‘Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.’ 2 Corinthians 9:6

At Anchor Church, we hold a steadfast belief about giving that aligns with our core values. There are three distinct categories of giving within our community:

1) Tithes: As seen in Leviticus 27:30, we embrace the practice of tithing – a commitment of 10% of our income – as a holy and biblical standard for supporting the mission of Christ’s Body, our church.

2) Offerings: Beyond the tithe, we encourage offerings that reflect a heart of generosity. Just as a farmer who plants bountifully reaps a rich harvest, we believe in the principle of sowing to reap a fruitful spiritual journey.

3) Vision Offering: This type of giving is particularly special to us. It's a collective effort to contribute towards the growth and realization of our church's vision. With each offering, we are moving closer to Christ’s purpose for our community.

Through these forms of giving, we extend support, guidance, and inspiration, guiding people towards the presence of Jesus. Giving isn't just a transaction; it's a tangible expression of gratitude and worship to our Almighty God.
